Foothill Gold Line + PartyWorks Interactive
PartyWorks Interactive and Foothill Gold Line team up once again to put on another successful event.
After five years of design and construction, and more than 2.4 million work hours logged, the nearly $1 billion, 11.5-mile Foothill Gold Line light rail project from Pasadena to Azusa reached substantial completion, on time and on budget, earlier this week. Metro subsequently accepted the project and moved into pre-revenue service, an important period when Metro continues to accept and commission new light rail vehicles, train operators and local emergency responders, and educate the community about staying safe as the trains begin to run regularly through their communities.
Nearly 3,000 community stakeholders, elected officials from all levels of government and key stakeholders braved record heat these past several weeks to attend the station dedications and celebrate the historic completion of the Foothill Gold Line from Pasadena to Azusa. The events were filled with community pride and each had specific details related to the station city.
Here are some photos from the event.
